Diocese, about to choose a new bishop, is facing rebellion
from a parish in Columbia County that threatens to withhold
money unless the diocese releases more information about its
finances. Earlier this month, the wardens of St. Paul's
Church of Kinderhook laid down an ultimatum. The parish will
withhold monthly payments to the diocese unless Bishop
Daniel Herzog orders an open audit of church finances and
