  • FOOD PANTRY

Whatsoever you do for the least of my brethren, that you do unto me.

In 2011, your generosity has helped hundreds of people in our town and villages. Thank you to all who have donated. For those of you that have not, please consider for the New Year picking up a can or jar (or two) of your family’s favorite the next time you go to the store. Then drop it off in the basket anytime the church or the McNary Center is open.

The Valatie Ecumenical Food Pantry
is now online at:   http://foodpantry.kinderhookny.us

  • VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR MONTHLY PARISH DINNER
Our next church dinner is Saturday, March 10th, and we will be serving Corned Beef & Cabbage. We still need someone to wash dishes/clean up and to supervise in the dining room.

There is also a lot of help needed for the rest of the dinners too. Please check your calendars and sign up to help. The sign up board is in the lobby of the McNary Center.

    If you have any questions,
please contact Cathy Nusca at 320-8708.
    Thank you.
  • ALTAR GUILD
We are down to the bare bones with volunteers for this most important ministry. The hours are flexible and great. If you are interested in learning more about altar guild, please contact either Genie Keegan or Pat Armstrong.
  • VOLUNTEERS
Please contact Deacon Karl if you are interested in helping out as a Eucharistic Minister at the 8am service.
  • SHARE THE WOOL
Thank you all who have donated for our prayer shawl ministry.. Right now we are most in need of gift bags and tissue paper. We have received several bags of yarn which is being put to good use. We have given out 15-20 shawls and two baby blankets in the past year. Our little group works hard to keep up the supply of shawls, lap robes and throws so that they are available all the time. If you know of anyone who might be in need or would like one of our stoles, please let any of our members know and we'll help you select one.

If you are interested in joining our group, we would be glad to have you. We meet on Tuesday mornings at 11 in classroom 3.

    Please join us any time!
